Emergency First Aid

Course duration

6 hours (Usually a one day course but can be run over 2x three hour sessions)

Who should attend?

  • Parents of babies and children (up to puberty).
  • Non-professional carers of babies and children (up to puberty).

What will you learn?

You will complete the course with the knowledge and confidence to provide basic First Aid skills and resuscitation to a child or baby in the event of an emergency.

Is there an exam?

No – Participation during the session is encouraged in order to gain certification.

Certification

A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course. The certificate is valid for three years. Although certification is valid for three years, we recommend that refresher courses take place annually in order to maintain a high level of competence.
