Who should attend?

• Parents of babies and young children (up to puberty).
• Ideal for Babysitters, Grandparents and non-professional child carers.

What will you learn?

You will complete the course with the knowledge and confidence to carry out resuscitation of an infant/child and basic First Aid.

Course content:

• Infantile Convulsions
• Resuscitation
• Making a 999 call
• Meningitis
• Choking
• Severe bleeding

Is there an exam?

No – Participation during the session is encouraged in order to gain certification.

Certification

A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course. Certification is valid for 1 year. Requalification can be achieved by attending a Knowledge and Skills update.
